A Confession or two

First, let me point out, that for the most part, I love bloggers. Y'all are some of my totally favorite peoplez, and there's no one I'd rather hang out with in vegas.

But I must confess: I am so. tired. of reading poker blogs.

There are a few that I'll read here and there, but for the most part my bloglines is stuffed to bursting like Homer in a Krispy Kreme shop with unread entries.

The good news is, that means that none of you are reading me, either, ha!

Here's the second confession: I am so. tired. of hold'em.
My game of choice online these days is .04/.08 stud 8 or better. Oddly, I win as much money ($4 or so for a session) at .04/.08 than I do at .25/.50. Weird, but I'm not knockin' it. Plus, it's a chance to do something ELSE.

My Pot-Limit Dealer's choice started up a month or so ago, and it was quite fun. I lost the first time, won the second time, and lost a little at the special 2/4 limit night. But for the most part, it was tons of fun. We played five card draw, omaha hi-low (which I still suck at), crazy pineapple, stud, stud 8b, and the last time we pulled out "discard jones", which just MIGHT beat out vegas hold'em in the fun quotient.

It's somewhat like hold'em, but the dealer gets zero cards before the flop. And then the dealer plays the burn cards. as they come. EEE fun and games! More details here.
